Avast ultimate is a security application that has a high detection rate as well as fantastic extra features. Its malware scanner received 100% in my tests and its web security blocked a number of phishing websites which slipped through Chrome and Firefox’s default security features. Other features include a Rescue Disk and a secure browser that can be used for online shopping and banking. Advanced tracker blocking is also included.
The interface for users of the suite is easy to navigate. The main screen shows a list with icons that clearly explain the features of each tool. Avast’s color scheme is a combination of orange, white, and blue. It’s easy to read and pleasing to the eye.
